SUP & SUN meets FUN & FAAK
After the successful Carinthian premiere in May 2022, we can look forward to a brilliant THE LAKE ROCKS SUP Festival in the Villach - Faaker See - Ossiacher See region (Carinthia/Austria) in 2023.
For the second edition, the races of the legendary SUP Alps Trophy again guarantee exciting competitions for international top athletes, paddle amateurs, and beginners. And for the very first time THE LAKE ROCKS will be also part of the International Canoe Federation's (ICF) World Ranking Series. So you will see even more international elite paddlers at the competitions, who can collect qualification points for the SUP World Championships at Lake Faaker See.
All participants and fans can expect an extensive stand-up paddling supporting program around the races - this time even on four days (and nights).
The 6.000 m2 SUP Village at Strandcamping Gruber at lake Faaker See will be an extensive festival and testival area covering and all of this with free entry.

At Strandcamping Gruber, a 6000 m² sunbathing area becomes the SUP Village and the shore area becomes the start and finish for the XXL, PRO and FUN races. On the opposite shore of the lake, the TECH Race will take place on Sunday in Panorama Beach. The crossboarder event at the CITY Race at the FreizeitBASE in Villach's old town will kick off.

SUP yoga expert Beate Egger paddles from the SUP village onto the lake several times a day and invites you to free yoga sessions on the turquoise blue water.

THE LAKE ROCKS party program starts with the award ceremonies for the races. At the CITY Race, DJ Mai-Kel creates a great atmosphere on the FreizeitBASE, on Friday The Bandits and on Saturday Why Cry Johnny will heat up the XXL Barbecue in the SUP Village.

In cooperation with the SUP Alps Trophy THE LAKE ROCKS became an internationally acclaimed SUP Festival with the very first edition.
We could qualify as SUP World Ranking Event and were immediately awarded two stars. Thereby THE LAKE ROCKS ranked among the the TOP XNUMX SUP events worldwide in the SUP World Ranking.
